my neighbor was just in my apt...and it is so messy. I'm mortified.

And I hate when someone tells you not to worry about it, their place is just as bad and you know their messiest room is cleaner than your cleanest room.

Needless to say it got me to tackle those dishes that were piling up in my sink.

I know how you feel, but I always try to adopt Karen's attitude... if they judge you on something superficial like that, you probably don't want them for a friend anyway!

And nothing motivates me to clean like having company over. Honestly, it's the only time certain chores get done!

LOL This was me the other day when a friend came over to watch the boys when I had to go to the ER to have my head looked at! I think I was worried about picking up as the blood was dripping from my head than I was about the gash on my head!!

The thing is she's the sweetest person in the world, and would never try to make me feel bad about anything. I put all the pressure on myself to be perfect (which, hard as it is for me to admit, I'm just not). The good news that came from her visit is that she wants to start walking after dinner and wanted to know if I would be her walking partner, which is awesome, I can definitely use the exercise!
