Hi everyone! I am so excited to host this month’s Inspiration challenge here at The Pad. This month's Inspiration Challenge was inspired by the following quote: “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” L.M. Montgomery When I think of October, I think of Autumn, the promise of cooler weather, and the gorgeous fall colors. For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, perhaps when you think of October, you think of enjoying the warmer weather and pretty spring colors in your neck of the woods. Your challenge this month is to create a page using the quote above as inspiration to show me what October looks like for you. There are so many possibilities with this – you can document your October routine, or seasonal foods / colors or perhaps Halloween or something that you are looking forward to this month. Guidelines: - You do not have to include the quote on your page. - Photos and/or journaling are optional. Here is my page. Whenever I think of October, I associate it with my favorite pumpkin muffins from Disneyland. Please remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the September Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can’t wait to see what you create!
I made this one... it shows my triple color halloween lights, my halloween tree, mums and pumpkins (must have) and I also found gorgeous fall colors of my fav flower, tulips! Oh and my freezing husband wrapped in a blanket because I cranked the AC down to pretend fall is here properly. lol.
Here is my page! It's sunny Spring in the Great Southern land and its my FAVOURITE time of year (hands down!)
