I just finished this book finally this week and really enjoyed it. I thought it was a clever concept that I've never seen done before with killer on the jury like this. So many twists and turns to get to the end, especially since knew the killer from page one. I really enjoyed the lawyer in this book too. He reminded me a lot Saul Goodman from Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad. I'm definitely going to check my library for more in this series. I loved that I could read this whole book without it mattering that it was from a series too!

I liked that it could stand alone too! I'm sure the previous books would have more of how the relationship with his wife fell apart and maybe some more backstory with characters like Harper. But that certainly didn't keep me from understanding this one!
