Week 44 was the death of my one 2-page spread per week plan. We had just too many events that happened that week. Even narrowing it down to just one photo per event, when I added in my random photos I had more than I could reasonably fit on a spread. So, I'm working on knocking this week out, one page at a time. Here's my first one...

Trying to be!! I really need this year to stay on track and going back to scrap events separately isn't working for me anymore. I normally would have my book 2 in my hands right now, but instead I'm still got several event pages to finish up. As tedious as it can be at times, working my events into my regular project life spreads seems to get it done faster. Looking at this switch up as practice for what I want to do for 2017.

This year I tried to go more traditional PL with just two pages per week. I think next year I'll do as many pages as it takes, but go for a more traditional look to my pages instead.

@tkradtke It's hard to find that balance with a lot going on and yet trying to get the pages done AND live your varied lives. You have found what doesn't work for you as well as what probably will. That's an achievement!

@Mrivas Love love love Pumpkin Guts!!!

You're right @cookingmylife! Knowing what doesn't work and letting it go, has been a big help with plowing through these pages. If I would worked too hard on trying to stick to my original plan, I think I would have had one really crammed full page and a bunch of event pages still hanging over me to get finished. Now, I'm just getting them done, one page at a time!

Here are my pages for Halloween...
