Hello!!!! Hope everyone is well.... can you believe we are almost in the end of the year? For me this year was a mixture of events and feelings, if you know me, you know I haven't been much around, not even scrapping... I am trying to find back my "normal" balance, so I am delighted to be hosting this challenge this month!!! For this month's style, we will be using a SPLIT PHOTO. You can make it in any style you wish, but, if you use more than one photo, only the main photo should be split. You can cut in 4s, diagonal, use templates or not, but there should be one prominent photo that is split. Here are some examples I made with November BYOC (that is AWESOME!!!!!) You can find the credits in my gallery, click in the image and will take you there. For the credits, if you are an early European riser, late night Aussie or just happen to be online when this goes live and you can't get to the gallery, be patient, I will try to move the images as soon as I wake up! one without a template one with a template from Pink Reptile Designs, Mirjam's BYOC Lazy Day templates, mind you, it has a layer or 25 added ) in the page above, I added the whole photo and lowered the opacity because I wanted to show it entirely but left the opacity very low, but you don't need to (use the whole photo with low opacity) providing we can see clearly what the photo is. Also one with a template from Nicole, NBK Designs, from November BYOC, she now has the pngs!!! the templates set also comes with a 65 elements Deco Pack If you not usually use photos, you can grab photos for free in some stock photo places, or you can find photos & ephemera pieces that are photos in lots of kits here, that is fine. Here are some examples of split photo using templates that I made in the past, these are live already so you most certainly can click and get to the gallery for credits So, in this case, the main photo is cut in 3 pieces and I added another photo in the top left this one took a bit more work as I made the extraction and added it on top so the arms show across the hexagons, but you can still clearly see the photo split in the hexagons another one here, also template If you are a pocket scrapper, here is one example, but I had included two main photos split...if you can keep it to only the main photo, please another example where the split isn;t the main photo, but you can get the template for the photo split if you like this way So, to make it clear again: Please scrap a page where the photo is split. it can be in as many pieces as you like, you can use a template if you would like to. If you use more than one photo, make the main photo be split. Be as creative as you like, providing I am able to see the photo Have FUN! Also please remember: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery , the Style Challenge Gallery and then linked to the November Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges) Can't wait to see what you will create!!!!
Thank you for this one Cynthia! I think it emphasizes her stretch so much more being spread over multiple spots. And draws your attention to her other hand also gripping a flower.
Thank you for the challenge! I''m learning so much! Here's my page: AntelopeCanyon2013 by EuphemiaJo posted Nov 4, 2019 at 3:11 PM
