TRA pushes me to be more. They tell me I can when I think I can't.
This tree planting ceremony was my idea so TRA said go and do it. Um, ok then.
Turns out their faith in me wasn't wasted.
I planned and executed a tree planting combined with a Remembrance Day ceremony. Rappville had lost three trees n their Avenue of Honour during the Busby's Flat firestorm in Oct 2019. As a veteran led organisation, I thought "how could we not?" replace the lost trees for them. This project was intensely rewarding and I am proud of our team and the results we achieved.
Team Rubicon Australia (TRA) in a NGO, not=for-profit. We consist predominantly of volunteers. We work in disaster relief/recovery. DISASTERS ARE OUR BUSINESS, VETERANS ARE OUR PASSION. Service above self is the driving force behind all of TRA's operational activity. Our actions are characterised by the constant pursuit to prevent or alleviate human suffering and restore human dignity. We help people on their worst day. When disaster strikes, we work hard to help the most vulnerable in need. By working with or alongside local agencies and governments, TRA seeks to be of the utmost service to those in need.
We are BUILT TO SERVE.​

This Took Me Awhile To Complete & To Figure Out The Subject Matter...I Decided To Do A Layout About My Other Creative Love...Card Making...I Have Been Creating My Own Cards For Years Now...Way Before Scrapbooking...So I Am Certainly Aging Myself Here...It Was My First "Crafty" Love...I Started Out Paper Card Creating But It Quickly Morphed Into A Combo Of Both Quite Easily...The Paper Totality Became Boring To Me & Limiting...But As Soon As I Incorporated The Digital Aspect...It Was Perfect!...

*This Layout Is Specifically About My Dad & His Wife...This Layout Is Kind Of A Tribute To Them...I Have Shown The Card That I Created But Have Strategically Hidden Certain Personal Words...But Not So Much That You Don't Get The Idea...Next To My Partner For Life...They Are The Other Constant In My Life..Without Whom...Well...Not To Be Too Personal Or Over Dramatic...O.K....Let's Not Go There...I Don't Want To Think About That...I Couldn't Live Without Them...So I Wrote 77 Words Of Journaling About How I Feel About Them...It Is Very Personal...So A Lot Of The Words Are Hidden...But They Are All There...All 77 Words...Love You Both Very Much!......
