Welcome to the November Journaling Challenge. This month I would like you to journal about a conversation. It could be a series of text messages, a literal dialogue, or perhaps an internal conversation. My intention was to journal about some of the difficult and divisive public conversations that are currently happening in America. But, I think the feelings are too raw, and that page is still in process. So instead, on a much lighter note, here's my page about a literal conversation I had with my youngest daughter concerning her math homework... Can't wait to read about the conversations happening in your lives! As always: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Once you've scrapped it, it should be posted to The Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the November Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate for The Lilypad Store!!! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge, remember that you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges.
I decided to scrap about how we text a lot in my family. Seriously, we find texting very useful! While I was typing the credits for this page, my daughter put something in the toaster oven and asked me to text her when the oven timer dings.
Having this much time to talk with my son is a rare occurrence. Even when he comes north for work, it's often time filled with work. Boo hoo.
For This Challenge I Wasn't Sure Exactly How I Was Gonna Tackle It...I Was Really Inspired By A Former Challenge From MOC5 Called "If These Walls Could Talk"...So For This Journaling Challenge I Went With "If These Puffins Could Talk What Might They Say?"...I Love Puffins & This Photo Seemed To Go So Well With The Paints & Background Papers That I Chose To Use Here...This Layout Most Definitely Has A Lighter Humorous Side To It...Hopefully It Will Get A Chuckle Or Two... For My Puffin Talk Layout:I Used: :Simple Life-Etc By Danyale :I Want Candy-Kristin Aagard Pasta Night-Kristin Aagard :Thanksgiving-Kristin Aagard :Autumn Love-Kristin Aagard :Text Bubbles-Kristin Aagard
Great challenge!! I scrapped more about the conversation than the actual flow of the conversation, if that's not ok please let me know!
