November 2016 Challenge| 30 Days of Gratitude

This year will look about the same and I did find a card somewhere on line that is my first page card. Glad to credit it if anyone knows. I'm happy with simple.




My only suggestion if you are doing a smaller album with photos this size or similar on white is to put a 1 or 2px stroke inside which makes cutting easier. I end up printing them as a 12x12 l ayout(4 cards per page)though I think Persnickety may have had a 6" sale in early December just for this.

I think Kimberlee said either way, it didn't have to be art journal-y. Yours is sure kraft-y though.

 

I want to thank you for this challenge. I think of myself as someone who remembers to be grateful, but this has pushed me far deeper, and made my previous practice seem superficial. There is something about looking at and choosing elements for the pages that makes me think, and feel, at a new level. And, particularly at this difficult time, it has helped to keep me calm and balanced.

So -- I'm especially grateful for this challenge.

I'm thinking about making a cover. Maybe I'll even print for a change.
