New Posts

Whenever I visit the forum, I like to click on "New Posts" but now with MOC happening there are pages of new posts because of everyone posting in their MOC layout threads.
Is there a way of not seeing those when I click on "New Posts"?

I know there used to be an option in the old forum to mark a certain forum read ( I used it a lot during Pick your Prize or MOC lol) but unfortunately not anymore. I will ask Esther if that is something possible in the future but for now we have to go quickly through the list. Sorry.

I just marked the MOC Layouts forum as read and that seemed to help.

for me 'mark forums read' in the MOC Layouts forum that i used to use so i didn't miss announcements at this time of year, it just greys the 'xxx's layouts' threads out but they still show up in New Posts or the lightning symbol so i'm not sure what the answer is here at the moment - still pushing all the buttons to try to figure that out myself so i feel you!

Marking a forum read works even better now! Fewer steps. It's right there in the upper right corner under the big pink Post thread button. And I just double checked. I was in the MOC Layouts subforum when I clicked the Mark read button and then clicked on New Posts (Under the What's new tab) and all the layout threads are gone!

I am in awe. For month now, since the new forum I only was using the mark forum read in the drop down menu

Yes, I did look around and find the function just for MOC. It's so helpful and thank you @michelepixels for taking the time to load the screenshot.

Oh yeah, I can't do the big events without that Mark Forum Read button! It's SO helpful! Glad you asked the questions @A-M so everyone can learn about this magic button!
