Hello all! My name is Laura. I have been scrapping since 2000 (paper from 2000-2007 and then digital). I am a nurse in my big girl job and have a photography business on the side. I am also a volunteer Firefighter and First Responder. I am married to my wonderful husband, Chad and cannot have children but spoil my nieces and nephews. We have a dog, Beagle named Lucy. I look forward to getting to know you all! PS- Anyone else from St Louis area? I live in Illinois, near St Louis, MO
Welcome to TLP! I'm married to a nurse - that's a hard love of work! The volunteer thing sounds interesting. Do you go out on a lot of calls? I'm not in St. Louis, though I've driven through a few times. We have a lot of scrapers who scrap their nephews and neices. I do, mixed in with my son. @angiekey scraps her adorable neices! And so does @EHStudios Elisa! Along with others! Let us know if you need help finding anything! Welcome.
Yay for extended families to scrap!! That & my dogs are my subjects too So glad you have joined here! I so look forward to your pages! Welcome welcome!!!
Hi, Laura! Welcome to The Lilypad!! My oldest son and his girlfriend are both Paramedics...big love for first responders
Welcome! My husband is a STL native. About a year ago I was at Ft Leonard Wood with the hubby in Ballwin. We are currently in San Antonio, Tx due to my job. I'm thinking too bad, cause it would be really cool to meet like minded folks outside of digi-land. Again, welcome. The Pad has a great scrapping community full of diverse styles and the designers are phenomenal.
Hi Laura! Welcome to The Lilypad!! Sounds like you are a busy bee!! I am so jealous that you have a Beagle!! My hubby and I would love to get a Beagle for our family, but we both get allergies from dogs (and likely so will the kids) and Beagles are pretty much a no-no as far hypoallergenic dogs go, huge sad face!! Can't wait to see your pages!!
Big welcome to the Pad, Laura - looking forward to seeing your digi pages in the gallery here! If you need a hand finding your way around, Anne's FAQ list is a good place to start
