ABSOLUTELY!!!! I had hoped to be serious about working in CC this month but then changed my mind and 're-upped' for MOC. Come February...
I just updated Photoshop, thinking it was just going to be a normal update and it blew away all my styles settings. I managed to figure out where they all were (I have them all over my computer!), but the next thing I did was export them and do a test import to make sure that they were all saved. What a great feature and thanks for the suggestion!
Have you thought any more about doing this? I'm trying to figure out how to set-up my workspace but haven't found much help. I can see how it functions, but still have questions. Since I'm just learning and trying to get everything set-up an organization tutorial/Q&A would be awesome!
CC newbie in the beginnings of setting everything up. How do you export a copy of the styles? I'll definitely want to do that.
Yes, I'm totally willing to do that! Let me chat with my partner-in-crime @bestcee to determine when we can do this session.
Yay yay yay @gonewiththewind and @bestcee . You two make such a great teaching team. I'm psyched. @Lisa B every time I think I know what I'm doing I realize I don't!
It's actually a lot easier than you would think. From your style palette. Click on and highlight the styles you want to save (hold the shift key down to select multiple styles). Then click the stacked lines in the upper right > export selected styles > rename / select location > save. I hope that helps!
