need new desktop

looks like my pc desktop of 5 years died ( has been shutting down randomly for past couple of months but now cant get it on at all) unfortunately this is worse time to get new one with memory and video cards prices thru the roof. because of this it is actually cheaper to buy a prebuilt than build it yourself.

has anyone have experience with microcenter pc's - they use brand name parts in their prebuilts but there are very few reviews of them . digital storm and alienware are more expensive for similar specs . A dedicated video card and ssd are a must. I am looking at midrange gaming pc's.

im back on my laptop and its a horror it seems like latest creators update must have messed withs system fonts even though i checked my setting all window dialog boxes are super tiny and getting such eye strain. trying to name a file in pse . is like doing it blindfolded. cant see a thing
As bad as typing i s on desktop on laptop its much worse

I don't have any experience with microcenter pc's.
But, if you need to wait a little bit to see if the prices come down, have you tried hooking the laptop to a computer or tv screen? The tv screen won't necessarily give you the right color, but a computer screen will. All you need is a connector cord. One of my old laptops had the HDMI port, the other had a VGA port to connect to a computer screen.
