@GlazeFamily3 love those colours!
@Chippi oh that cat is really neat!!
@Angie4b1g - I am here wanting to see an updated photo of your progress. I would love to see photos everyone else's progress too. Maybe next year I will play - it looks so fun ....
I am only through January 9 since I started so late... but I will post pictures soon!
Here's mine so far for January and February (minus the random day at the beginning of February that I skipped somehow)....
I really need to start weaving in ends before they get too out of control.
That looks awesome Tracie!
I decided I really really hated my light blue and I'm starting over.
If you hate the blue, then there's no reason to keep going. It's early March, so the year is only about 1/6th over; it's easier to redo it now than in, say, July (when more than half the year has passed). So I say Good for you for starting again, Angie!
I LOVE this idea. I'm currently saving the highs/lows for my town this year in the hopes that I'll figure out a way to do one. Our temperature fluctuates so much that it should look really interesting - or spastic. February had temps from 12 to 69 and everything in between.
I haven't crocheted in years, and my daughter was wanted to learn knitting/crocheting, so this might be a fun project to start with.
I love this. I don't know how to knit or crochet though.
I would do red for "texas temps".... ha ha... there'd be a lot of red.
Hey ladies -- Got any photo updates? I really find this very fascinating - I really do want to see your pictures!
I'm about to do my end of month catch up... it's fun to see the color shift this month. Lots of greens and my first yellows!
I want to do this so badly!
Here's the full thing as of a couple days ago, and then NEW COLOR I got to add for yesterday when it finally hit 60! We had a random 70 degree day a while back, hence the peach, lol.
Resurrecting this old thread because I've actually been working on my temperature blanket again. I'm through mid-June now, but this photo was taken around the June 1st mark. Currently debating whether or not to finish the year. If I stop at the end of June, it will be a reasonable length, if I continue for the entire year, it will be obnoxiously long. I could make two six month blankets, but honestly, if I stop, the temptation to try a new project will be too great for me to actually start a blanket for the second half of the year. After seeing @Angie4b1g's corner to corner blanket, I have the itch to try one myself
I love how this is looking! I would stop when it hits a normal blanket length especially with the colors the way they are turning out already. It’s gorgeous! Plus I completely understand the itch to start a new blanket. I just said to my hubby a couple days ago that I was having the itch to start a new blanket. I really want to do a lightweight cotton (aka thin) blanket for my reading chair to use in the summer.
wow, I love that blanket and this idea!!!
this is gorgeous!! <3
@LBscraps - Have you seen this thread? You might be tempted in light of your new love for crochet.
