My Girl's Rainbow Party... blogged. Whew. It was an insane amount of preparation with the boy's actual birthday smack dab in the middle of the pre-planning. Baked the cake and fauxreos on Thursday. Took all day. ALL day, except when we were celebrating the boy's birthday. I then spent all day Friday (when we weren't putting together the boy's birthday present) cleaning, organizing and trying to get as much done as possible. at 2am, i finally called it quits and went to bed, only to have an excited girl wake me up at 6:30am. aaaaaaaaagh! good thing she did, I suppose, because I spent every single minute from 6:30am - 2pm getting ready for the party! and we're doing it all over again next sat. with dinosaurs. anyway, a few people had mentioned doing their own rainbow parties this year, so I thought I'd share!

You need to be a party planner! Everything was amazing!! The rainbow cake turned out beautifully too...I am sorry they didn't eat it. Loved your pics too! TFS

thanks to you all, but let me clarify: i am NOT a super-mom! In order to get that party going, my family got snapped at, yelled at and they got NO LUNCH. and that was just on Saturday!
