My fit bit charge hr should be delivered tomorrow. After charging it, what should I do next? I know it'll have paperwork, but I'd rather have tips and tricks from those in the know!
It takes less than 2 hrs to charge, then you just put it on. You really don't ever have to touch it. But, in the app or in the online dashboard, you can set silent alarms, change the order in which the info displays. But you just put it on. No playing or anything.
I put it on! It didn't come until 2. I can already see this is going to be good for me. I was playing with the app. It said I was over calories for the day by 130. So, I went for a walk up the street. Got back, and it says I was at 27/30 active minutes. So I went for a walk along the complex to get those 3 minutes. Never mind that I didn't put it on until 2pm, and had been active this morning. It didn't count to me because it wasn't in the app! Question : how do you know if it's charged? My husband put it on the charger while I was at the laundromat. It looked fine, so when I came home I pulled it off. Is there an indicator light or anything?
In the app, if you click on "device " it will say "charge hr" "Battery low" I also get an email. Haha
My daughter pre-ordered the new Flex for my birthday, coming out in March. It has a new narrower profile and you can purchase interchangeable bands, but I bet the features are the same.
I want to get the new Fitbit Blaze that's coming out. I have the Charge HR but it can't keep up with my running. It's usually a 1/2 mile behind.
My husband wants the Blaze as well, instead of his Surge. He was hoping for more of a smart watch than the Surge is. I'm not 100% sure the Blaze is truly a smart watch either, but whatever.
I received one for Christmas from the hubby and it's still waiting for me to charge it! LOL! You gals will be my inspiration to get it going; I'll do that tonight after work.
I often take it off on Sunday night and let it charge overnight. I hate to forget and then have it conk out in the middle of the 2nd week. btw, you know there are pretty bands for sale on Amazon! They are softer rubber, probably cheaper rubber, but I find them lighter too. I have a ridge on my arm cause my arm was under my head in bed!
