OH, THANK YOU for this challenge. I just LOVE to play with all the art journal supplies in my TLP stash, but since I usually scrapbook pretty plain/simple, I don't do it much. I just NEEDED this playtime tonight. Totally trashed the first attempt...NOTHING worked. But I finally got on a roll, and love the page. Like Cheryl, I had a hard time with this page. But it is what it is. On a positive note, I had totally forgotten that I had a group photo of my kindergarten class. So you see it here in all of its glory (not). LOL.
You just made me giggle. I said the same thing about mine "it is what it is". BTW - your page doesn't look like you had a hard time with it. I just shrugged my shoulders and posted mine. Ugh
Since I've lost so many photos, I had to dig to find just a few precious ones of my childhood. Thankfully I photographed my Mom's album in December. Since one of the first things a child learns is their name, I thought I would go with that...
My mind went to all of the things I remember from school, that students now would not recognize... 'old school' stuff. It revolved around both elementary and Jr. High/High School. My given name is Suzanne but in Jr. High I abbreviated it to Sue... thus my 7th grade school pic.
