It's ELEVEN days until Christmas! For me, it's busy week full of holiday happenings, including 2 Christmas parties and ornament exchanges with my friends, a class party for my 9 year old and a Christmas movie night with her friends. Of course, there's all the last minute presents to finish up too. I need an elf to help me! ;)

What's on your schedule this week?

Hmmmm... let's see! I have to work this evening then off until the weekend. I have to do all my last minute stuff in 3 days. Should be enough time, right? This week we have the boys' Christmas concert as well as one hockey team gift exchange. I have to work from the 23rd to the 31st... not much fun for me! But we're making the best of it! Good luck everyone this week! ;)

We hand in our semester project Thursday, so before that, I guess we're running around like headless chickens trying to finish it up, and after that, we are celebrating. :giggle

Since I am DONE with Christmas shopping, bring it on! I'm frankly just looking forward to some time off.

Another busy week for me - we have another interview candidate at work at the end of the week, and I am bound and determined to get caught up on all the other little things that are slowly making my inbox unmanageable. No major personal things happening this week for me.

And of course, MOC PLANNING! Woot!

I just finished my Christmas shopping, now starts the mad dash to make everything I planned to. Haha! I also have some training to do this week at work.

Finishing up wrapping (shopping is done!), Christmas party for my Kindergartener and party for my girls and their friends! Next week the kids are home and that's when the craziness will begin! Baking cookies, watching our favorite movies and packing for our ski trip to Colorado! Can't wait!

Let's see...

Science fair is tomorrow for my son and he's a cranky, stressed out mess. Just one more day, just one more day...

Clara has two dance performances this week (Thurs and Fri) and both are at 4:30 which is an incredibly awkward time for a performance. She usually hosts a party for her friends on the last day of school before the break, but because of the performance, she can't this year. However, she is going to a dance sleepover and gift exchange instead. Friday is their school party and secret santa exchange... have one thing to finish up for that.

Alex's friend surprised him with a Christmas gift last week and he wanted to get his friend something as well. But since he's no help in the shopping department, I talked him into spending the money to take his friend out to lunch instead (they have open campus for lunch at school). Dodged a bullet with that one!

Last week had most of our activities, so now I just need to start wrapping and mail our Christmas cards out. Oh... and packing. We leave Saturday for Michigan and won't be back home until 1/2!

We attended a deactivation ceremony this morning. Goodbyes stink! :(

I just finished my Christmas shopping yesterday! That's happy news!

This week, it's business as usual. We'll finish out the week of school, but on Thursday we're going to see a huge Christmas light display. Excited for that! And we're planning sugar cookies and a Christmas play over the weekend.

I have some shopping to do and some errands/appointments this week. Ugh. We have to get to Costco this week because next week will be even more insane. I'm waiting for a call back from the senior services ombudsman and will hopefully be able to talk to him soon.

If Christmas cookies are going to be made at all this year, it will be happening this week.

I have to get everything wrapped for Conan so I can mail his package off to him in the next couple of days. We have to re-decorate our tree because my husband knocked the whole thing over (double ugh).

My daughter ended up having to work a different schedule this week, so it threw everything off because today was supposed to be a day off, but isn't.

Just keep swimming!!!!

I swear this is the busiest week of the year for me trying to get ready for the break! I'm getting teacher gifts for DS to take to school and food for his party, plus gifts for all my teacher friends and food for two other parties at work. Throw basketball scrimmage games in the mix and I am wondering how I am going to get it done, but I know I will. I will just collapse in heap on Friday afternoon. I have worked really hard to have my shopping and wrapping done so that when Friday does get here I can just relax some. I will have a few other things to do over the weekend, but not much.

There are advantages to having been sick all year at least that's what I'm calling it. Husband's work Christmas party on Wednesday. Finish Christmas shopping (hello Amazon), decorate the tree, make a tree skirt. Then trying to figure out some ways to bring some joy into this house and missing my kid in Seattle. Oh and the knee is hurt again so just add in a little physical therapy 2-3 times this week and next.

Phew, I still have a few stocking gifts to grab and some mailing to get out but otherwise I am done! I am hoping to catch up on December daily, grab some challenges and such - work on a album for my anniversary. Mostly play!

mon-clean up from huge but awesome church fellowship at the house (chili and cornbread and so many pots of coffee)
tue-groc shop/ make costumes
wed-chat!! woot here at the pad, church
thurs-wait? nothing on the calendar? wootie woo
fri-Church Christmas Banquet up the mountain (this means no cooking)and last day of school for the year!!! woot
yeah...It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

Let's see... the boys go to a Lutheran school and all the school kids are doing the entire service on Wednesday night for Advent. Tuesday and Thursday we finish up the last games for both boys for their basketball seasons. Friday is the last day of school for the kids and we have two really close friends that are teachers at their school, so we are having a fish fry at our house to celebrate the end of school. Oy. So I have to clean and get some food planned too.

Tracie, I think you and I will be passing each other on the road. I'm headed into Chicago on the Southshore on Saturday morning to meet up with a friend and go see Straight No Chaser in concert.

This week I need to finish Christmas and birthday shopping. I also need to finish a photo canvas project I'm making as gifts for my mom and mother-in-law. Also, we've all been sick around here for the past week, and I'm finally feeling better... so I think a good deep cleaning is in order!

Too funny! If I see you, I'll wave! :wave That day we'll be heading to the other side of the state to have Christmas with the in-laws who live in the Detroit area. Have fun at the concert! I love them, but have never seen them live. Are they at the Chicago Theater?

I had to actually look it up because my friend got the tickets and I didn't even know where the show was going to be. Lol. It's going to be at the Civic Opera House.

Amazing venue! Spent a lot of time there (in the audience and backstage) when my son used to be in the Lyric Opera productions. I would love to take one of their official tours one day. My favorite place has to be the wardrobe department.

Oh gosh.... I'm spinning and it won't stop! The only down-time is when I'm actually working!

This week DH is on late shift, so evenings are all me with the kids and homework. We've got his sister and her family coming this weekend. For who knows how long! I live in a shoebox - this should be interesting! I've finally started ordering gifts from Amazon - thank goodness for Prime! I have to wrap all of gifts for my SIL's kids and get to the grocery too before they come! I'm waiting on my Christmas cards, then to address and mail them too! UGH! LOL!

After saying all that... all I can do it try to keep up, and laugh! Maybe have a cocktail, too!

PS... I offered to make appetizers for the family on Saturday when we are celebrating, but then suggested we all go out to eat - so the kids can be crazy and make a mess at the restaurant... and we get out of the house.

Hosted a small luncheon today, so my house is all cleaned and ready for Xmas Eve when I have my family over. Still have some shopping to do this week and finish the Xmas calendars.
