Yup...back to the grind! What's on the agenda for this week?

I think it's probably best if I spare you all the details of my week :dizzy but I will say that we so looking forward to trick or treating tonight! My 2.5 year old is going as "the man in brown" a/k/a Paul, our UPS man (we love him) Emma is going as Strawberry Shortcake, Colin is Harry Potter and Connor is a very scary looking Dementor.

A certain :whip told me that she may be hosting a speed scrap on Wed night, so I would keep an eye on the Tuesday night NL for those details, there may be a little incentive involved :whistle

Other than that we will be in full gear getting ready for the iDSD festivities this weekend! Wait until you see what we have coming.....you are going to love it!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!

Well the highlight to my week will be Wednesday when the man in brown should be delivering my new camera!! Eeekk... I can hardly wait, although I am still a little scared after all the drama I have been through with all this.

We had our Fall Fest at church on Saturday but I probably need to buy some candy for tonight in case we have trick or treaters.

And... the highlight to the end of the week is the big Alabama/LSU game. I am a little nervous. Hoping we can say Roll Tide at the end but LSU is one lucky team and they are pretty good.

Amanda!!! YAY! What did you end up getting? Soooo happy for you!!! :yesss

I went with the 5dmii and the 50 1.4. I have enough saved for 1 "L" series lens but I am going to rent all the ones I have been drooling over before I make up my mind. I am still really scared about loving it though after all I went through with the D700. I am just hoping it all works out. If not then I quit and I will just buy me a P&S and be done with it all.

You will love it! I promise :) the 135L is amazing, as is the 35L and the 100L macro, that's all I have because I can't afford anymore (I got cut off). Can't wait to see the photos you take!

The week starts with Halloween Fun, of course! Last week, my kids were home on October break and DH took a few vacation days, so today is back to regularly scheduled programming. I might be a bit too happy about it. LOL The break was fun, but I need some quiet time to regroup. Tuesday, I even have a few hours alone. *gasp* On Thursday, I am teaching digi to 2 friends. Otherwise, we're gearing up for a super FUN iDSD here at the Pad.

Tonight we've got trick or treat - my oldest is going to be Tinkerbell and my youngest is Snow White. We're going to go out with a friend of mine (her daughter is my daughter's "best friend"). The rest of the week needs to be spent getting my house cleaned up. We've been so busy for the last 5 days with Halloween festivities and my house is starting to show it. And Wednesday night is my daughter's last soccer night.

Well my highlight is goin to work now when I want to scrap.hope you all have a great time trick or treating

I woke up and made a cute halloween lunch and ghost pancakes (with raisin eyes) for breakfast for an exciting start to a Halloween morning...then my middle child threw up. So he's staying home from preschool and we'll just be dealing with a pukey day today. :( Hopefully it won't last too long so we can play the rest of the week! :)

The breakfast sounds so cute!! So sorry you are dealing with sickies. That is no fun and I hope he feels better soon!

Today my oldest has a teacher's work day! So, my boys have been wild already with the anticipation of Halloween fun tonight. This week will be busy as always, but I am so used to that. :) I hope everyone here has an amazing week.

Don't count it on it! lol. And that's not luck, sweetie pie! We're just that good! ;) GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Brady had his last soccer game of the season on Saturday...thank goodness! It was a ton of fun, but it will be nice to have our Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday's back. lol.

Just work for me...got 4 sales on the board, so busy, busy, busy.

Oh, and a dental appointment...boo! I loathe the dentist!!

It was back to work today. sigh...We still need to carve jack o Lanterns this afternoon. And we are having a Halloween get together in our neighborhood and trick or treating tonight. My daughter is going as Athena. No soccer practice tonight, but we will have our last practice/end of year party Wed. night. The rest of the afternoons after work, I will probably be trying to get stuff ready for DSD in my spare time.

Trick-or-treating tonight, so the boys are bouncing off the walls asking if it's time yet... Wednesday both boys start up swimming lessons again after not having been in them for years. They are really excited about that too. Every year we say we need to do it again, but then I look at the prices and I can't pull the trigger. Now they are getting old enough where they really need to know how to swim properly, so I planned ahead for the cost this year. :)

Thursday a friend of a friend is coming over to learn how to make jewelry. Otherwise not a whole lot going on. I really need to do some cleaning around our house too. I've been kind of lazy this last week and it really shows! Oops! :)

Oh, sorry I didn't mean that it would be luck that would allow LSU the win. LSU is very good and that's why I am nervous, especially LSU's passing game. They look much better in that area than us right now and that's where my nervousness comes from. At the same time I think they are a very evenly matched team and I don't think it's impossible for bama to pull out a win, it's certainly happened before:whistle. I have no doubt in LSU's ability and the fact that they are a good football team but I have watched them for many years and my opinion will always be that they are "one lucky team." Unlike anything I have seen in the SEC. Has nothing to do with their skill. Hope I didn't offend!

We were gonna hit up the Zoo Boo tonight...but DH had dental work done today and is feeling like crud...and I don't think I could handle the Zoo Boo alone so I am just gonna take the kids to a trunk or treat just up the road.

Other than that our week is looking pretty boring and I don't mind one bit lol. Maddie has dance Tuesday and Soccer ended for us last weekend so we just have the team party Wednesday night <3

Not going at all how I had in mind.

Plans: Work out, shower, do some laundry, have a nice Chipotle lunch, maybe an afternoon nap, and tidy the living room.

Actual: Work out, get call from school to pick up unruly child, spend next 7 hours trying to get him to do the schoolwork they sent home.

*fetal position* Pass the vodka.

Busy week here. Hubby is away, this is week 2 out of 7. My Mum is here to help.
Mon: worked out, went to pick up Star Wars Advent Calendar that I finally managed to track down last week and was supposedly put away for me and found out it actually wasn't put away. not happy!! a little shoe shopping and grocery shopping with Mum. Home in time for a pre-removal inspection. Ferrying kids to and from school for performance. Quickly dressed into costumes. Trick or treating. Then home to cook scallops with cauliflower puree and bacon crumb with salt and pepper squid salad.
Tue : I have to go all the way into hubbys work to pick up our official passports because apparently they can't send them by registered mail. again not happy. Melbourne Cup today so we will go and put a bet on for myself and the kids and watch the race. Then looking after friends kids this afternoon and taking the girls to gymnastics.
Wed : dental surgery in the morning, then I find out there is a teachers strike as well for two hours in the morning.
Thursday : we need to go get the last of our shots for Malaysia, number 5 for the kids and 11 for me. Then we will go out for dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant in the city, I think we all deserve it after this week.
Friday : no plans as yet.

phew

Happy Halloween! I want some candy!!! We didn't even buy any since kids don't really come by and we just end up eating it ourselves.

I started my new job today! This whole week is just training - so that's a little boring. And I need to get used to working dayside after years or working at night. But I'm so excited to be starting someplace new!

And in a week, I'm heading to Disney World! Life is pretty good these days! :)

Today we celebrated Halloween of course and the kids had a blast even if my little princess was feeling under the weather.
Apart from that this week is the usual work work work but with LOADS of designing and getting ready for this weekend!
