MOC Q&A

I'm seeing links to products used that have the name of the product instead of the URL. Is there a tutorial on how to create them?

To have the kit name linked do the same.
copy the link from the browser bar, then highlight the kit name, click the chain link icon and paste the kit link into the pop up box. HTH

 

Thanks, once I figured out what the chain link icon looked like & where it was (in the tool bar at the top of the post field),I got it.

I just discovered the MOC 9 gallery. Do I need to reupload all my layouts to that gallery?

 

You don't have to reupload them, you can move them
Just go to your layout and click the EDIT MEDIA button and then click Move Media...and you can choose the MOC9 gallery from the drop down.

Is it the end of the world if we don’t move our layouts from our Members Gallery to the MOC9 one?

 

Could be a silly question, if I was to use an template from another store but everything else be current TLP product, would that work? I’ve seen so many different percentages mentioned across the site that I’ve become confused.

 

Jennifer, I was checking this out also as a template I am using for Day 14 is no longer in the store. A template counts for 15%. Hope this answers your question.

 

Templates are always considered 15% so if you use a template from another store, as Anne-Marie @A-M said you would need to have at least 75% being TLP Current product in the store for MOC. Also some of the challenges say NO Templates allowed for the challenge, so regardless, a template may not be allowed for that challenge.

Normal monthly challenge are 75% TLP product, gallery postings (non MOC & non monthly challenges) is 50%.

Always check Gallery Rules and of course the MOC Guidelines re products.
