First of all, what goes on between Bart and I is none of your business. (Since I don’t know who Bart is, it’s probably none of my business either. Ha!)
Coolest welcome back ever. Thank you!
It felt really good to load up my cart, sit down with a nice cup of coffee, then tea, then whisky, and actually finish a few layouts, and leave some love. Just like riding a bike. I think. I haven’t got on a bike since longer than I’ve done stroke outline selection 3px brownish outside color burn 85%.
For those who are wondering about me, I started digi back around ought’five or ought’six, it’s a little fuzzy. The golden years. Good times. A lot has changed, but I still see a few familiar faces (waving at Julie and Renee). I have not one, but two EHDs full of divi love. One is rigged with duct tape and I have to hold it up in the air sideways and to the left but I could still pull a some vintage TLP from it.
I’m not going to bore you all with a bunch of excuses as to why I slowed down and then pretty much stopped with the exception of my christmas cards every year and the girl’s birthday invitations. Sure, I’d grab a kit every once and a while. I’d sit down, start a layout, but never finish. I would say over and over, I’m going to get back in, but never quite got there. I believe I saw one of Gina’s new paper packs and I couldn’t get it out of my head…and that was that. Bring on the backwards heavy duty staples, glittered ric rac, and film strip frames. (oh come on, tell me you don’t have at least one layout with all three of those things)
I’m looking forward to hanging out and checking out all the new designers (new to me anyway). Don’t judge me when you see me scrapping Christmas pictures in April about a 7 year old that is really 9 1/2.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go upgrade my PSE…..or get ready for work. I haven’t decided yet.
