Hello all! You might have noticed, but the Pollies have taken January off from the MUSE this year, since MOC is going strong. Thank you for giving us a little break. I have been unable to participate much in MOC as my husband had surgery just before Christmas, and he still needs my help far more than I expected, but I really wanted to play a bit - and I thought maybe some of you did too! So I thought I would post a little fun today with a MID-MONTH PLAYDATE! One thing I really like doing is playing with Art Dolls, they make a great starting point for any page I might be making. With physical pages it is easy to cut and paste a doll any which way I like, and I wanted to have the same ease of use in my digi play, so a while back I made a series of little layered dolls. Since this is a PLAYDATE - I thought I would share my toys! So here is an ART DOLL that I have made - I sketched her out on paper and then digitized her. I made her layered, so you can add papers, colors, etc. however you like, and make her yours! You can grab here here https://tinyurl.com/y8zkwo9z I also noticed that Angela posted a thread about quotes earlier this week - you can find it HERE There are some really good quotes on there and I was really inspired, so I decided to use a quote for my page Now your turn - what are you in the mood to make? Come back and show us here so we can oohh and awww over your creations! I would love to see what you make with her!
Thanks for the doll. I was going to try out the traveler's notebook format, so this is a good opportunity.
great idea Erin. I don't use psd files, but have some png art doll templates from years ago in my stash.
@mimisgirl Erin, thank you for the art doll template. Here is mine. I changed the original quote I posted just a tad. @Angela Toucan We are similar, but our layouts still turned out quite differently. I'm glad you liked the quote.
This the first time I am trying out the notebook size and it was such fun!! I used a quote that I saw in the quote thread (posted by @mcurtt )but changed it from "red" to "purple".
Oh my gosh, I had SO much fun playing with your doll (or should I say----dolls) I don't usually do AJ, but couldn't resist this time.
Oh my! I found this one as well. Looks like I did the layouts but never posted. Just want to share with you and thank you for your work putting this mid month activity together.
