May Style Challenge

    Hello, and welcome to the May challenges! This month I get to bring you the Style challenge and for May we are going to make a double-page layout. A double-page layout is a two-page layout that focuses on a single theme for the two pages. Two-page spreads look so nice when they are printed and placed side-by-side in an album or in a photobook. And they are a great way to scrap a story that has more than a few photos.

    And to make things easier for you, there is even a 2-page layout templates category in the store here!

    Here is my page using a double-page Keepin' It Real template from Scrapping with Liz:

    Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread.

    The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

    2 challenges = 10% off
    4 challenges = 20% off
    6 challenges = 30% off

    If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).

    There was a time when almost all my paper scrap pages were 2 pagers. Now I'm like "What to do, what to do?" lol.

    I love the look of double page spreads but rarely do I scrap them. Thanks for the challenge.

    ditto. I ALWAYS paper scrapped two pagers. When I switched to Digital I tried doing one pagers and was so confused. Now that I've mastered that, I have trouble with two pagers. LOL

    Here's mine. I usually scrap double layouts, but this on took me forever to finally finish this layout. Too many screen shots.

    I loved this template and combined it with pictures of me and my boyfriend plus two friends trying to reenact some weird statues while on a trip in Oslo....
