Hello everyone! Many scrappers have difficulty with journaling and I was never one of those until lately. I had a hard time figuring out what to journaling about. I looked through all my photos and came across this photo of my oldest son, so super excited to be sporting his new t-shirt from his new school for next year. He will be going into grade 7 and here, they go to high school and he is just brimming with happiness and excitement at the prospect of something new. So for the May journaling challenge, I want your to journal about something coming up that you are excited about. I can't wait to share my page with you and see all your pages! Here's mine: Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). Now, tell me what spring is for you!
@renee82 yes I can see it ! and I've read your french journaling, wish your son the best in this new school
I really, truly need to do the challenges this month, and I love this one! Sometimes my journaling is so boring, just stating what we did. But looking forward to something brings a whole new perspective!
sometimes i journal an actual conversation i'm having with the photo lol am going through my Things To Do in May for challenge ideas, this will be fun
I am super happy that everyone seems to be loving this challenge! Your pages have been awesome so far! Not that I had any doubt! Keep 'em coming!
I always struggle with journaling. I think the main reason is that I try to write it in english, which is much harder than in german. So I thought why not writing in german and giving a short explanation what I´m talking about. Here my daughter tried this "fish massage" in Greece and had much fun. First it was a bit scary with the fishes and they tickled a lot. I can imagine the screaming of a bunch of teenie girls ;-). But her skin was so soft when she came home.
I'm excited that my son can drive on his own now ... he just passed his road test a few days ago! My Mom Taxi duties were just cut in half ... yay! Here he is driving away solo for the very first time. surreal!
