Hi Everyone! I'm back to host this month's Inspiration Challenge! Yay! I love seeing everyone creativity at work, and how different interpretations are from my POV! So, this month, I'm going to look outside. The great outdoors should be your inspiration. A wonderful way to look at the world around us, especially nature! There are so many possibilities! Here is my page - Hiking Adventures - about my boys and us spending the day outside when we both happened to be off of work and school for the day! We had a picnic lunch, and hiked in the park and on the trails near our home! I used Allison Pennington's new Revel papers and Paislee Press' new Weekend Vibes Kit! I worked with the browns and greens, and all of my pictures are outside, even a caterpillar! I can't wait to see what you create while being inspired by the great outdoors! Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
This is just for fun, but it fit here, so I thought I would show it off a little. Old stuff, but so fit what I wanted to say.
I am so glad you chose this prompt for the challenge! I did a bunch of journaling for last month's challenge about spring, and then ran out of time to create the layout. Thank goodness it fits for this month - thank you! Mine is a 2-page spread: And here are the links to the individual pages in the gallery:
Maybe not the most obviously outdoorsy page but I took this photo in the botanical garden – lately I've been going there almost every day for a walk after lunch and it's been so lovely. Something new every day. The weather's been very changeable, in this photo the sun was shining but there were also ominous clouds on the horizon. And sure enough, we had rain before long...
