March Photography Challenge

Thanks for the challenge!

 

Sunsets have been pretty blah lately, but then this happened!

 

Thank you for the challenge! I had hoped to get a sunset photo during a field trip with my son, but managed to get both on the same day. They helped tell the story of our long day of travel and touring.

 

The past weeks have been mostly clouded, but at the beginning of the month I shot this view on an evening walk. The birds gathering in the treetops before nightfall.

 

I have been waiting for a clear day to take either sunrise or sunset photos, on a semi clear morning early in the month I got this so-so sunrise photo from my deck. Since its going to keep storming for the rest of the month, I had to give up. With the 3 year drought followed by 12 (so far) atmospheric river storms and a 3.5 earthquake this morning, I think Mother Nature is mad at us.

 

Well, last night while letting the cat in or out, I realized the sun was setting and I could actually manage to take a photo of it for this challenge... Yay!!!!
