Hello & welcome to the March photography challenge! I have to admit that this was a hard one for me this month. Normally I am bursting with ideas for the monthly challenges but I feel like I've been in a slump lately and my creative drive vanished. My mind has been unfocused, chaotic, and stressed, and the more I tried to come up with an idea for a "good" challenge the fewer ideas I had...which is so counter productive! That's when I was struck with the realization that I was making this too hard and I just needed be still, not overthink this, and breathe. In doing so, I realized I was now noticing the things that filled my house and the simple beauty of these inanimate objects. So I picked up my camera and discovered that they can create a beautiful still life image. So this month, take a look at your surroundings and capture your own still life photograph. A still life image is anything that is inanimate, and is traditionally a grouping of objects. Once you have your still life photograph, create layout with it. Here is the layout I created with the still life photo I took for this challenge: I used the TLP Collab Centered for this layout. I hope you enjoy photographing your still life image and I look forward to seeing your layouts created with them! Remember: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the March Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from The Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Happy March! wonderful challenge, here's my take. Wishing you a very beautiful day and a fantabulous week ahead!
I was about to snap a picture of my orchids today and then I accidentally flipped the camera in my phone and the light was gorgeous so I called B to snap some selfies and the orchid became forgotten.
