Lots of outside photos. Between my 6yo and myself, we took 217 photos on my DSLR yesterday! I had to do some serious slimming down to get this to 10 for this 2 page layout. :)

This is my photo from yesterday when March came in like a lion and dumped snow on us. My poor spring flag! I like the juxtaposition of the snowflakes from Kristin Aagard's Snow Bear kit with the colorful spring papers of Gina Miller's Whimsicality kit.

Here is mine. My Carpenter Bees came back this week! I'm loving having them around again. They aren't aggressive and never bother us. They will hover in front of us if we are in the way when they want to go into their little homes in our logs. But we just move and let them go by us. I wish I had a photo of them that was good. But they move too fast for me to catch them.

What a view! I want to start that habit too, but my view won't be as pretty.

    Hi Carilyne,
That view is not at my front door so to speak, but I'm really lucky to live close by the river (5mins in the car), and along this river are some lovely little riverside cafes/kiosks. I'm having some extended time off work due to breast cancer, so I'm trying to get into the habit of parking maybe 20 minutes away from one of these cafes, walking there, treating myself to a coffee and a read under the trees and then walking back to the car. Starting for real this Monday, God willing!

I am so sorry to hear about the breast cancer. That is a hard thing to go through. I'm a 18 year survivor and have been there. Even if it isn't your front door view that's an excellent idea. Getting some exercise, some vitamin D, relaxation are things that make that a great combo. I am going to think about where I could go at least some days. It will probably be the state park so I'll have to drive but I can walk around too. Thanks for the inspiration. How far are you on the treatments or are you recovering now. Hang in there and take care of yourself.
