Fun challenge. I want to go to the beach after seeing all these great layouts!

Makes me want to be at the beach!

 

I was inspired by the water theme:

 

Well, this is about as far as we get-----its all in our minds!

 

I took on some of the blue-green hues but mostly focussed on the sun in my layout

 

Love the sandy beach photo for inspiration. February on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada might not quite be the same, yet I love the the blue & green contrast visible on our rocky beach at low tide.

The palm tree from around where we live.

 

It's not the beach, exactly, but it's at a motel at the beach.

 

Inspired by relaxing overlooking the sea/beach/ocean .... scrapped some very old photos from one of the first holidays abroad we went on with in laws

 

I'm sure you are confused how a beach photo inspired a rodeo LO but....
The inspiration pic made me think of a Zac Brown band song called Toes. In it he sings about escaping to the islands and never wanting to go home but he runs out of money and the beach no longer 'loves' him so he goes home and learns to appreciate what he has.

I was inspired by the water & the "summertime" feel of the photo

 

I have no beach pictures but even if I did, this made me remember a friend's vacation and all the emotions she shared as she gushed on and on about the wonderful time they had doing practically nothing. I feel a warm, sun soaked happiness remembering.

 

Inspired by the colors and being outside

 

The photo reminded me of how important it is to take time for yourself, to relax and just love yourself. That led to me making a layout to remind my daughter to always love herself. Thanks for the inspiration!
