@tpbuffy I have a question - since there are two parts, does it mean we'll be making two layouts?

No - just one layout. The parts are related to the award. If you complete your layout by the end of part one you get the participation prize plus a chance at the $10 coupon. If you complete your layout after the end of part one but before the end of part two you get the participation prize.

Let's get started... I will monitor for the first 30 minutes and then check in periodically.

Because the template is your choice, the only way I will know if you participated is if you link your layout in this thread. To qualify, post your layout to the gallery or hosting site of your choice* and then paste the image and link here by 7:00 am ET tomorrow to qualify for the drawing and by 7:00 pm ET tomorrow to qualify for the free template. You can make your layout yours; add items and design as you like, as long as, you follow the instructions below.

    THEME: MIMIC THE MINUTE
Below are 17 small details about the sample layout, choose seven of them to duplicate in your layout. When posting your layout post the seven you duplicated.

    1. tiny red heart
    2. green button
    3. flat ricrac ribbon
    4. flag/pendant banner
    5. candle(s) element
    6. main title written in numerics
    7. glitter splatter
    8. twine bow
    9. large paper star element
    10. acrylic star element
    11. striped/zigzag design on tape element
    12. ruler element
    13. photo of cake
    14. photo of yourself
    15. wrapped gift element
    16. four lines of journaling that ends with an exclamation point
    17. polaroid photo frames/mat(s)

    The Twist
For those that comment in this thread before the start of the challenge (posts 2-32), you only have to copy six of the above.

*Posting Notice: To upload your layout into the TLP gallery it must follow TLP gallery posting requirements.

The sample layout follows the instructions - if it has it that means you can have it!

Thank you so much for hosting, here's my take, I too used Birthday wishes by Kristin Aagard, and I used for my layout: red heart, green button, glitter splatter, bow, ruler element, cake picture. gift element.
