Hi all. It is Marilyn here and I'm back for another "scrap an old photo" challenge. As many of you know, heritage layouts are near and dear to me. This time, while you will have to dig into your archives for your photograph, you won't have to go too far back in time. The photo requirement for this challenge is that it has to be at least 10 years old and that it has new meaning for you.
FYI... Without trying to depress anyone, my DH passed away this April, 2023, and I grieve every day. My first thought was to select a photo of the two of us from our care-free days. I chose one from 1972. We met in February of that year, and I doubt at the time that either of us thought that we would still be a couple in 2023. But we persevered and time flew by. In addition to referencing the good times we had over the years, I added a quote to my layout that rang true:
Though nothing can bring back the hour,
Of splendour in the grass,
of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not, rather find,
Strength in what remains behind.
--William Wordsworth
I used Lynn & Rachel's Hear My Voice - Masking Collection, mostly Lynn's products...

And here is one from @flowersgal with a newly discovered photo. I encourage you to read her journaling.
Challenge Requirements:
ALSO, don't forget to check out Lynn's featured product challenge and her half-price featured products this month, which you can find here: Lynn Grieveson Specials.
