Lynn Grieveson - Aug 2020 - How far can you make a kit go?

    Hi, fellow scrappers, and welcome in August with a new challenge! It's Patsy here. I'm excited to post my first challenge for Lynn. It's a subject we all are interested in, I think -- STRETCH YOUR STASH! Our goal is to use ONE of Lynn's kits in new and different ways to make more efficient use of our digital supplies. (And that leaves us money to fill in the "holes" in our supplies or to add a "must have" from new offerings.)

    Although I'm not exclusively a one kit scrapper, I often resort to that for quick scraps and for two page spreads (an event or travel layout). After all, the designers work hard to harmonize the supplies in their kits so the pieces work well together in colors and styles. Let's take advantage of that.

    For this challenge, you may choose any one of Lynn's kits/collections currently at the Lilypad but ONLY ONE to use. You may also use Lynn's templates if you like. From this, make two layouts.

    For this challenge I chose the Nostalgia collection to work with and several of the creative team members joined me in the challenge. Here are some layouts for inspiration:

    I will post some more inspiration in the post below but for now I invite you to join in:

    The challenge requirements:
    1. Use one and only one of Lynn's kits/collections from the Lilypad to make TWO layouts. They do not need to be a double page spread.
    2. Your layout may include photos (any number) or not -- your choice. You may use any of Lynn's templates.

    And here's the good part: It's a win-win situation for all. In addition to completing two layouts, after the challenge ends (August 31), ALL participants will receive a 25% off coupon for one order of Lynn's products. (Patsy's hint -- shhh - don't tell but the more you put in your basket, the more you save. And who doesn't have a bunch of Lynn's goodies on their wishlist?)

    General Requirements:
    1. Your layout must contain 75% Lynn Grieveson products.
    2. Upload layout to Lynn's gallery at the Lilypad following the gallery posting rules and listing all credits.
    3. Post your gallery images (2) into this thread. Please keep them together in your one post here.
    4. You have until midnight (EST) August 31 to post your layouts.

    Great idea for a challenge! I used "From Up Here" kit. Here's my first:

    In the 2nd layout, the little boy in the blue snowsuit is the same boy in the red shirt in the 1st layout 9 yrs later. :)
