I don't feel old enough for this to be happening, but a friend of mine was moved to hospice last night. He's been on my soccer team since 2008 (we joined at the same time). It's hard to believe that the guy I've played side by side with for the last 6 years is losing this battle. Hug your friends. When this happens, it happens fast. He just found out his cancer had spread in September. (Prior to that he had a slow growing lymphoma that supposedly they were keeping an eye on since 2005. I didn't even know he had it until he found out it was everywhere.)
it is crazy. this happened to my husband just last year. grew up with him from the neighborhood ... (they guy was the sweetest and was actually in my graduating class). so so sorry angie. big hugs.
so sorry about this Ang...huggzzz millions... Sadly, I do know the feeling well, I started loosing loved friends early in life. & you are so right: important to hugg, kiss, tell people how much we love them .... more huggzz for you
cancer sucks...the life out of everyone around it too...I hurt for ya..it is just horrible...may there be some peace for him and his family
Sorry to hear about your friend Angie. It's been a rough start to the new year with a friend of mine going thru 2 brothers who passed within a month of each other. Cancer SUCKS!
I'm so sorry Angie. Cancer is a beast. I wish him all the comfort in this world. I wish his family & friends peace. Take care, let yourself grieve, & give those extra hugs to others. All my love.
