Today is not only Rachel‘s day, but also yours!!!
It’s your chance to stock up your stuff because Rachel
has a 50% off sale today in honor of her feature:

If you’re not familiar with Rachel, go have a look at her amazing store here.
Rachel's designs are versatile enough that they can work for literally any kind of style
She is also one of the collaborative designers for TLP's Memory Pockets Monthly Subscription
If you're not familiar with the MPM for just $8.99 a month subscribers will receive the main collaborative kit, plus as an extra sweet deal, add on products from the MPM team and the past collaborative kits are discounted by 35% during your active subscription.
If you are not sure about the subscription don't worry as all of the MPM Collaborative Kits and Add Ons are available to purchase separately so you can grab them or mix and match them at any time.
Have you seen Rachel’s “Hear My Voice” Collaborative Series?
Created together with Lynn Grieveson Designs and released on the third Friday of each month the collaborations are an offering of rich textures and unique digital artistry created from a mixture of mediums to provide you with the right tools for expressing your thoughts and feelings through art journaling.
The product series is designed for hybrid and digital scrapbooking, digital art projects, creative journaling and other paper crafts. Save the most by purchasing the bundled collections, they are huge!
All of the elements, papers and templates match perfectly month to month – it’s an easy way to create beautiful looking mixed media layouts and art!

Many of you might know that I am a more clean & simple scrapper.
I love minimalistic design and adding only a few elements to my layouts which is why I assumed Mixed Media was a bit a “no go” for me…
This was before I started playing with Rachel’s stuff . . . after using her products I was instantly hooked!
Today, I LOVE
using Rachel’s elements, papers and templates and I have so much fun creating my layouts with all of her beautiful stuff and I love the results!!!
My layouts are still clean, but a bit more artsy
I strolled through my gallery and here I will show you some examples to inspire you:
These layouts were created using
The Mixed Media Signature Kits: On Foot
Rhapsody | Mixed Media Kit
The Mixed Media Signature Kits: Sea Spray
Sanguine | The Complete Mixed Media Collection
Eden & Friends | The Complete Mixed Media Collection
The Assembles Collection: Phlox | The Kit
Rachel has a lot of (beautiful) collections, but you can also buy most packs separately.
I also love to use her templates!

Let's get to know Rachel a bit better
- she kindly agreed to an interview!
Please tell us a little about yourself and about your family
I’ll be 47 this year, I’m married to Simon and we’ll be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary in the Autumn
We have two children, Keaton who is 9 years old and Mackenzie who is 6 years old.
In my spare time you’ll currently find me with a coffee catching up on the Beckham Documentary on Netflix or binge watching reality tv, Digital Scrapbooking or dabbling in various Mixed Media antics.
You are living in the beautiful United Kingdom, so we are interested to know more about the region in that you live.
Maybe you have some pictures for us?
We live in the ‘Midlands’ region of the UK, near to Birmingham, the second largest city in the UK. It’s a wonderful mix of old and new, a bustling urban city but with canals and easy access to rolling hills and open spaces. An abundance of things to do and lots to explore from years past with a rich industrial history.
My photos show some buildings from the city centre, shopping mall, train station, a tea room, the canals, open spaces and museums.
Which came first, scrapbooking or designing?
Design!
It actually all started with forum signatures. I was a member of a baby forum and a wedding prep forum and asked one of the members how she created her graphical forum signature and what software she used. Soon I discovered a community of ‘signature taggers’, taught myself how to use Paint Shop Pro and this evolved into learning how to use Adobe Photoshop.
Soon after I was making smaller size kits for signature taggers and then I discovered digital scrapbooking and opened my first shop selling full size and high resolution kits and I’m still here more than 15 years later . . .
What does your work space look like?
After having the kids my workspace is compact and has moved from upstairs to within our living space downstairs. I have a nook in the corner of our dining room which also backs onto our open plan kitchen.
In My White drawers I keep my Collage Kits and Ephemera, stencils etc. and in the large grey cupboard behind my desk I have extra Collage Stock and Fabrics, embroidery threads, books and other bits and bobs.
My tech is:
Printer - Canon Pixma G5050
Scanner - Epson Perfection Scanner V500 Photo
Computer - Mac Studio M1 Max 64GB
Sewing Machine - Janome D3050
Wacom Intuos Tablet

I know you scrapbook frequently with your own designs and also create art journals and projects - we all would love to see some examples of your work!
I find scrapbooking so relaxing! Once a collection is finished scrapbooking with it is one of my most favourite parts of the design process and it feels really rewarding to make a set of pages and make sure everything is working cohesively.
I’m quite a messy scrapbooker though and will always just pull photos out of my stash that inspire me with whichever product I’m working with. I haven’t scrapped chronologically since I started creating I’m just trying my best to document and capture my favourite moments and keep at it.
I have a concertina sketchbook on the go at the moment which I collage in and a few junk journals. I still have some of my December Documenting to finish in my little miniature Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol Book.
I’m about to embark on the 100 Day Project and create collage fodder everyday and work more in collage books in preparation for May when I’m a Guest Artist for a week in my daughters school and working with the children who are in the Early Years.

Rachel is building a portfolio of articles that will help you if you are intimidated by Mixed Media but want to give it a try. If you're an experienced scrapbooker her articles will still be of interest to you and you'll find that she'll help you to stretch your stash, talk about design and composition and help you to make your layouts pop.
Subscribe to her e-mails to have future articles delivered to your inbox and to receive shop updates.
You can view all of her past articles here.

For today Rachel has a re-release of her beautiful
