Today's Daily Crush is Elif Sahin Designs!

This event isn't a traditional challenge in that there aren't any real rules. It’s a fun event to scrap with products from a fave designer or try a new (to you) designer. It’s all about having fun and celebrating the uniqueness of all of our Lilypad Designers!



A bit about Elif, our designer today:​

In case you are like me, and wondered how to pronounce Elif's name, here it is! Click on the Turkish speaker button and you can hear it.

Hi, I am Elif. 30-year old self taught graphic designer. The simplicity of digital scrapooking and my passion for designing made me start a professional career in digital scrapbook industry. Aside from scrapbooking I love binge watching Japanese anime. When I’m not designing or scrapbooking, I love knitting, and flipping through a good book with hot black tea (with lemon) in my hand.

How did you start scrapbooking?
It all started out of my curiosity to embellish my personal blog when I was in college. When I was browsing the internet for pretty cliparts, I came across a scrapbooking website where I drooled over all the lovely designs. My fist thought, I can design these! Then I saw scrapbooking layouts which I've never seen before. With little Photoshop knowledge I started making layouts and my own embellishments to use on them.

Are you reading anything good lately?
Yes. Ikigai by Ken Mogi. Quite a fun read you can finish in one sitting. Maybe you can find content in who you are when you get to the end or at least have a conversation with yourself to slow down and be happy with simple, slow things.

Do you have a new favorite kit?
Hmm. I always have a new favorite so it's a never ending cycle . These days I like looking at Cozy Cottage collection.
