bwahaha! i'm laughing but only because i think we nearly had the same incident! don't you assume they're finally at an age when you DONT have to say 'don't label your brother!'... my DD would have done the same (at 14!) if hadnt told her to stop wasting the yellow vinyl tape cartridge and thrown in 'and dont just swtich it out for the paper white one!' for good measure
The thing I use it the most for is adding labels to every cord that comes into the house, so that when I find them laying around or they are ALL shoved in our junk drawer in the kitchen, I can tell what the cord even goes to.
awesome idea! i'm kicking myself for not having thought of this before! i put washi tape on my cords or bread tags to denote 'F: drive' etc on EHDs but i can never remember what pattern goes with what and there are waaay too many white or black cables (i did get different coloured lightning cables for the kids ipods so i knew who's was whos until they busted them
In fact... my Apple cords all say "Karen's - NO TOUCHY!"
Bwahaha love it!The multitude of Apple cords with the kids is exactly why I started doing this... then when they broke or lost their cords, they couldn't just grab mine.
Now there is a toy, I mean useful piece of equipment, I don't own yet. I've used them before but not at home. I do put a lot of things in plastic sleeves ( like vocab bingo cards for DS) & have stuck with that because then I can just take the paper out & recycle it & stick a new sheet with different words in the same one... And it means one less thing to try to store somewhere!
