January 1: Blind Scrap (Random Challenge)


6 elements are 2 sequin scatters, 1 red flower, 1 green leaf, 1 santa button, 1 gingerbread man.
1 word art
1 journal card
1 solid paper
1 patterned paper

I did also add a date.

10/6/17, 7:30 pm On The Train
Taking the train everywhere you needed to travel outside of walking distance was a unique experience. I’m not sure if I love it or hate it or somewhere in between. Once you learn how it all works, it does seem easier than a car and paying for gas and navigating traffic but it is very confusing learning which stop you need and which train to hop on next.

JANUARY 9: Advice to your future self
Word Count is 202

While this does apply to now as well, I wrote this to my future self, be it tomorrow or 10 years from now, this is something I always want to remember.
Journaling reads:
Stop fighting …
Is it worth it? Stop to think if what you are angry about is worth your anger or if it can be easily dismissed. Don’t give in to it. Walk away from it. Let others have their moments of tantrums or fits of rage or nastiness and know that it’s because they have a problem, not because of you. Love those that matter to you in their random moments even when you are angry. It hurts you and your own happiness to be angry and fight back. It takes away from your good moments in your own life. You can’t fix it. You can’t control them. It is what it is and if you don’t take time to choose the joy in your own life, then you will constantly battle the anger, unhappiness and depression. It’s easier said than done but know that if you can be the one to calm down and let time separate those feelings of anger, hurt and betrayal from those of love, peace, calmness and happiness… then maybe that will help the person on the other end as well. If all else fails, pray for them to find their own peace, joy and happiness.
