Hello fellow Lilypad Dwellers!! I am hosting your Style Challenge this June...can you believe that we are halfway through the year already?!? It's crazy to me, but nonetheless, here we are!! Your style challenge this month is trios or thirds. It is a pretty easy style, you just need to have 3 distinct columns or rows on your page. You can use journaling, elements, papers, photos to make these trios...or you can mix them. They just need to be 3 distinct rows/columns!! Here is my layout using the Wanderlust kit from Sahin Designs and Designed by Soco Can't wait to see your take on this!! 1...2...3...GO!!!! Please Remember: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I had fun with this, thank you... In fact I made 2 versions ( the other has the house in the middle panel and a man climbing up to a girl sitting on the rail of the balcony ), but then I thought better not,-He looks a bit like a burglar, and she looks as if she wants to get away So final version;
Awesome challenge! Trios are fun to work with and amenable with traditional through art journal layouts!!!
Well, I started with three very distinct columns, but then I got carried away. I am totally willing to redo if needed.
Thanks for a fabulous challenge and inspiration piece, I simply loved playing along and am so happy with my layout.
