Hello & Happy June! Welcome to this month's random challenge, which I am calling "product play". This month, I want you to reach into your digi stash and pull out a variety of digital elements to use on your page. Specifically, create a layout that uses these five products: 1- wood veneer 2- stitches 3- sequins 4- word art 5- patterned papers That's it! You can use anything else that you would like on your layout, and you can have any number of these elements, photos and journaling that you desire. Just be sure to use those 5 products on your page. Here is my layout for this random challenge: Credits: I used products from Sahin Designs & Designed by Soco's Collab Wanderlust, Sabrina's Creations kit Wanderlust, and Memory Pockets Monthly Wonder. I hope you have fun and create a layout that you love! Happy scrapbooking! As always, please remember the regular monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Your layout is an inspiration for when I read all the items to use, I immediately thought "BUSY" which is one of the things I steer away from. Now to see what I can create. And here it is:
I'm with Flowersgal. This seemed like a nightmare to me when I first read it! LOL But then it didn't say how MANY sequins, so I figured 2 was enough. I almost NEVER use wood-looking paper, and seldom printed paper. But the walk we took in the woods this afternoon inspired me to come up with something I don't hate! Thank you (I think!!!) for making me leave my comfortable little box. https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/06-19_nolteparkwalk.396632/
Great layouts here!!!! thanks for the fun challenge. (the letters are veneer but kind of hard to see!)
Thank you for inspiring me with the challenge. I put the photos into the template when we were still on holiday but didn't get any further than that. This challenge has helped me put the layout together beautifully. Thank you. I created the word art using two different alphas and the stitching.
