Hi everyone, can you believe we have reached week 4 of June!!!

Our focus for the month has been about one of the best things in the world…. ART SUPPLIES and I'm here to continue with some more of the fun supplies we artists use, whether physically or digitally!!
Week 4 is all about: Paper which includes background papers (cardstock, mixed media, patterned), paper ephemera, torn papers, paper bits, postage stamps, tickets, playing cards etc, the list goes on!
As you well know paper plays a very dominant role in art journaling, whether it is digital or not, it can be used as the background layer; torn to create interest; and thicker cardboard that can give yummy textures, to name just a few applications. Let’s not forget the stunning little pieces of paper and ephemera that can be used to build up your page layers and add so much interest to the visual design of a page. I have loads of papers in my stash (digi and real life ---> me in my paper stash
) and love just playing around with them to see what I can come up with. The Art Journaling, Paper Packs, Ephemera and Commercial Use categories in the TLP store are great choices for finding art journaling paper supplies. Also just searching the terms above will get you a ton of fun options to browse through.
Here are some of the things I found in the store when I searched through the categories noted above:
LOL! You get the picture, these products are just the tip of the iceberg of what is available in the store, but as always, check your stash first! Papers don't have to marked Art Journal to be used for art journaling, blend some papers together and then add some grunge and voila, you have made your own unique paper!
Here is my page: I felt like having some fun and so created this tongue-in-cheek page about not getting all anxious about using lots of papers, just let it go and don't overthink things! I didn't use any pins, staples or stitching to hold all the paper bits down, but I may have borrowed some 'digital glue' from Lisa.

Credits: The majority of the various papers are from Paula Kesselring, and some from Lynne-Marie. I will put a more detailed listing in the gallery tomorrow.

- Challenge for Week 4: Simply use LOTS of papers on your page, whether it be a fully layered composition or just a cluster of bits and pieces of paper, that is what I am looking for.
Make those papers big, small, torn, creased, folded, plain, patterned, stamped, inked or whatever, just use lots of them!!! - You can create any type of page ie. clean and simple, artsy, pocket style etc,. Your page can be all digital or hybrid. Wherever the inspiration takes you as long as you include TLP products on your page.
- Please post your layout to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE prior to Midnight EST July 2, 2023 and then post it in this thread by copying the code (at the right of your gallery image) from the box under "Share BB Code".
You can use any products in the Lilypad store or retired products from current Lilypad designers, (just make sure you follow our gallery guidelines).
I have no doubt that you guys will come up with some pretty amazing layouts! sooo looking forward to seeing them!!
