On Week One, we showcased our strengths in our Coat of Arms (COA). During last week, week two, we shared how strengths are in numbers when we share how some of our people/groups/pets help by bringing maybe some strengths that are not part of our COA. This week we will grow our strengths. You will be doing a page this week that includes your COA and has some additional skills or strengths that we might not feel super sure about and that we want to grow and cultivate. Here is how we will do that. Create a page (any style, any size, give yourself space to grow) You will need to use symbols or words for those skills and strengths that we might want to grow/cultivate. It could be something you think you can work on it because you are not "great" with it or it could be something you think you completely lack. There needs to be some images (elements, stamps, brushes) that are related to planting, cultivating, gardening on your page. Here is my page: I just created a template with a Coat of Arms for all of you to use if you decide, just in case this is stumping you. Remember to follow the rules for uploading into the Gallery. You can do any style. Upload to the our Art Journaling Gallery. Have fun!!!
I am 100% responsible for the migraine. There is an AIR QUALITY warning in our area, but I HAD to go get my books at the library. You need to sign up for curbside/drive-up and today was my appointment. We did a quick stop to grab groceries so we had something to eat today and.... By the time I made it home my head was going to explode. I blame it on me not listening to the AIR QUALITY warning. booooo
Awwww. That is STILL a bummer. I occasionally have migraines with aura- they are the WORST! Even when the pain ends, the next day is futile. Hugs and prayers for relief for you!!!!! And thanks for a good set of challenges!
@Dalis this challenge has turned into such a wonderful exercise - thank you. I started with animals being my focus and have migrated to flowers - must have known this subconsciously since I added daisies to my coat of arms and then plumerias to my daughter's coat of arms.
I came up with this... Not gardening or planting, but still cultivating. And at least I've got some foliage & flowers in there (along with the bee & butterfly).
