    I lifted the large photo (so I filled my page with lots of photos), and I though the the inspiration photo probably had some soft processing on it. On my photos I used some actions to give a warm almost B&W look to some of them. And I also liked the doodled bunting, so I used a bold paper for the bunting in my template, so it popped against the photo.

    Although I much prefer her warm and sunny beach photos over my cold and snowy winter photos, here's my take on it:
