Hello everyone!! I hope you are all having a wonderful, warm summer so far!! And if you don't live in a place where it is summer, then I hope you have a speedy, mild winter! Summer vacation is just getting into gear here...and it reminds me that the year is already half over!!! Which also reminds me that I am woefully behind in my project life...so far behind that it seems insurmountable...but I'm stubborn to a fault, so it will get done!! I am hosting the scraplift challenge this month, and because I am stubbornly set on getting caught up on my project life, I want you to scraplift a pocket style page. You will need to browse through the Pocket Scrapping Gallery and find a page that inspires you!! Now, I don't want those of you who don't do project life to freak out...there are plenty of pages in there that are not project life. So go ahead and get lost in that pocket goodness!! Here is the layout that inspired me, from our very own Maribel And here is my layout So to recap...you must choose a layout from the Pocket Scrapping Gallery and post it here. Then let your creative juices flow as you make an original layout inspired by it!! As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the July Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Got the chance to scrap early this morning while both girls were napping together. I've been ogling so many of @LynnG 's layouts, I just love the "messy pockets" that follow the style of pocket scrapbooking without being so rigid in design. I scraplifted her "Not Actually Your Birthday" layout: And here is the page I created: I'm double happy because it coordinates a layout I did for a challenge a few months back, so now I've finally gotten around to completing the double page spread!
I'm working on a couple Disney albums. This is great for me to knock out pages! Lots of these basic rectangle - 12 slot pages I chose to lift this basic shape page by @tkradtke I'd been trying to work on this page for quite some time. Getting all the details down, finding the right cards to use....whew. Finally decided that this was the best layout design!! 12 days, 12 cards
Okay, let's see if I did this correctly! I love the pocket pages by @Mrivas, but I stink at making them. This challenge is forcing me to try again so I did! Here's the one I was inspired by: And here's my version:
Thank you for the challenge ... I love travel pages so I choosed a layout by bestcee. my inspiration page Mine
BIG challenge for me, as I am not a pocket scrapper. On the other hand, I love so many of Lynn Grieveson's pocket templates, I happened to have some. Here is the layout that was my inspiration: ...and here is the one I made:
My inspiration: I love being able to use so many pictures on one page, the symmetry keeps it so nice and neat! Be back soon with mine.
