July Inspiration Challenge

My attempt:

 

This stretched me, but I am so happy with the outcome ... AND ... I got a bunch of pictures from my daughter's photo shoot 2 years ago scrapped, which I've been wanting to do for so long

Have been lookin gat this for a few days... I am intrigued.. Not sure I am a fan in any way... My problem is , I don't have anything that really fits the challenge... I have found one series of my photos that are similar, but they are green trees... not at all her figures or dark things... Since I don't typically do challenges that do not help complete my goal of scrapping my life, I am still trying to figure how to make the trees appear to have been inspired by her work... Definitely a thought process. Will be back....

 

OK... Here is my take... hope it works... The very close cropping was my inspiration and eh total absence of elements

I can't say I'm a fan, but it's like a disaster . . . I can't look away! Her work has a weird fascination and I took a long time studying the pieces. Finally went with a black background and a spray of flowers. Sorry, I just couldn't subdue their colors!

 

For a simple layout, this took a bit of effort. It either felt over, or under, done. I finally just stopped.
