Hello scrappers! I've got a fun challenge for you, and we are going to be looking at your photos. Don't fret, it's an easy one! For my challenge this month, I would like to you scrap a photo that shows a different perspective. Courtney, @bestcee, inspired me with her post about perspectives last month. (You can read about that here.) Try a close up, a photo through a window, one from looking up, or one from looking down, a photo to show height, there are so many possibilities. We all see things differently, so I'm excited to see what you choose! This can be an old picture or a new picture, and I would love to hear how or why you took the picture the way you did! Here are some examples with my pictures with different perspectives. Sun fun: Forced Perspective (making it seem like an optical illusion), original photo: The FUNNIEST part : Swinging on a swing, or I'm standing in the sky : A leaf through a window, almost floating: A mini rock tower (my boys and I were building so many!): Here is a layout that I created to scrap my new perspective: Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I took this photo at an angle so I could get my granddaughter and the street she lived on in one shot and I lucked out with a great reflection of her too.
mine, even though I will try re making the page to give the photo a bigger impact, not sure about this page as a whole! love the challenge Jenn!!!
Don't know if it's clear but the photo of my daughter's hands is taken from above her head, to show how her hands would look like if she were looking at them.
Photo of my daughters on the jungle gym. Right picture in particular was at an interesting angle. Petrie Picnic by Juliestcyr posted Jul 5, 2016 at 7:28 AM
I have been meaning to take these pictures and the challenge is perfect for it. My little man likes to hide his army men in the rocks of our fireplace. You need to get close to find most of them.
