    Thanks to all that have join us in creating the memorial for Dawn. We could all learn something from her, from her compassion, how sweet she was, how supportive she was with everyone that needed a hand, from her relationship with her daughter, from her love to animals, colors and art. Every week we will make at least one page to commemorate one of those amazing qualities we experienced from Dawn. I understand that some of you may not have known Dawn well but these are all qualities that I think we all wish we have and/or we all wish we can express to those we love. Dawn had such a beautiful view of Mixed Media art, her work and products just brought up everything that we want our Art Journals to have in real life.

    WEEK #4 Word Arts, Quotes, Sayings and/or illustrations.

    I loved her quotes, specially her quirky ones, but you can use any style of Word Art, Quotes, Sayings. So many in the store to choose from. I loved how she could have little WA snippets that were deep and profound and in the same package she would have a quirky one.

    You may create any style of layout (ie. clean and simple, artsy, pocket style etc.) you wish, with or without photos but for this challenge you do need an image of some sort. Create any size page you wish. This is for everyone, so have fun and see where the inspiration takes you. If you want all 4 Muses on one page that's perfectly ok or you can make 4 separate pages!! It's totally up to you! :)

    Please post your layout to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE prior to August 2nd and then post it in this thread by copying the code (at the right of your gallery image) from the box under "Share BB Code".

    We will draw a winner at the beginning of next month for a coupon!! You can use any products in The Lilypad store or retired products from current Lilypad designers, (just make sure you follow our gallery guidelines).

    I especially loved Dawn's word art - some of these just said what I was thinking. Thanks for letting us honor Dawn, all month, through Art Journaling.

    I love the colours in your sample LO @Dalis! Thank you for letting us honour Dawn in this way! Autumn is my favorite season and I think this is one of my favorite quotes.

    Fantastic challenge for the entire month Dalis, its been wonderful rediscovering all of Dawn's beautiful and inspiring designs. Will try to get a page done for this weeks' today! :)

    Dawn always included so many great pieces of word art in her kits. When I went looking through what I have of hers the kit I used stood out to me - Que Sera Sera.

    Thank you again for organizing this challenge - a last Good Bye to Dawn. It was a pleasure to be part of her CT for the last 2,5 years. I miss her so much.

    Week #4 Of This Monthly Muse-Art Journaling Challenge For Dawn...I Did Week #1,#2 & #3 & Some Of These Layouts Were Filled With Loss,Grief & Sadness So I Decided To Take A Slightly Lighter Different Tone With Week #4...Still A Tribute To Dawn But A Bit More Positive & Uplifting...Focusing More On "Home Is Where My Heart Is"...This Quote Is From Dawn's Treasured Mini & I Used Basically Every Piece From That Mini & Then Expanded My Layout As I Felt I Needed To Add To It...All The WA I Used In This Layout Is From Dawn's Kits Except One...Still In Dawn's Artsy Style With Her Love Of Nature On Display With The Birds I Used Here...Which Are All From Dawn's Kits & I Couldn't Forget To Add A Couple Of Her Sweet Owls Too...I Used A Rather Calming,Relaxing Color Palette Of Soft Blues,Browns,Golds & Greens To Articulate My Homey-Family-Lovey-Relaxed Type Of Vibe...xoxo...Dawn...
