July '18 Pride of the Pad

Welcome to the July edition of the TLP POP (Pride of the Pad). I hope by now you are used to seeing us celebrate the art and stories you share in our gallery each week.

As you would know, a different Polly chooses one page to highlight each week but the start of July has not been an ordinary week and has been hard on all of us in the community. It is usually very difficult to choose just one page from all the inspiring and beautiful pages, but this week some of us have found it difficult to even venture into the gallery, including myself. I wanted to share with you something Polly Jenn McCabe wrote about choosing this week's page with her permission.

"I've gone through pages and pages of the gallery today. I still can't bring myself to scrap yet, but being in the gallery helped. My heart needed to connect with the beautiful journaling, family photos and lovely people of this digi community through all of their pages. I found so many pages for POP that I wanted to showcase, but this one that pays tribute to our beloved Dawn felt the most right".

Because I have been slow to come back and post this, I'm inspired and happy to see so many additional pages filling Dalis' Dawn- inspired Muse thread, Courtney's Celebrating Dawn thread and the gallery filling with tributes but today we highlight and award the 1st week of July's Pride of the Pad to @Anny-Libelle - as always, I invite you to click the link and share your congratulations and comments directly on her page, and to keep sharing your pages and stories with our community.

 

This week we have another Pride of the Pad page that Dawn would indeed be proud of. It is truly heartwarming to see her art still filling our gallery and screens.
