Job Interview

Just heard back and my application is being progressed further. The next stage is a two job specific scenario tasks to work on over the weekend and email back to them by Tuesday.

 

Yes, at least for a good couple of hours. Going to work on it on Sunday night (I’m on my own from 5pm) and hopefully submit Monday before I head to my doctors appointment. They specifically want to see how I work so I figure if I submit on Monday it also shows how I manage deadlines rather than leaving it til 4.59pm on Tuesday.

 

Sent off the assessment this morning and just received an email response

Thank you for sending through your response to our short scenario assessment. We appreciate the valuable time and effort that you put into the assessment.

xxxxxx will be considering your application based on your phone screen, interview and assessment and we will be in touch by the end of the week once a decision has been made.

 

I haven’t heard back yet (it’s Friday here) so hoping I’ll hear on Monday now.

 

Well heard back from the job I interviewed for at the beginning of the month.....I was number 2! Didn’t get the job but got amazing feedback from the team and lots of encouragement and positive feedback so while ultimately I’m disappointed, to get down to the final two and hear that it was in the end down to fine details was heartening to know. The main differences were the successful applicant had done their in-house course which was mentioned in the ad and little things like they had better responses during the interview in x but my response to y was better, their draft email was more friendly in tone compared to mine etc
