Oh good, I may need something to get me to stop thinking about Barrons!!! I dl'ed the sample of the first book from the Highlander on my kindle. I can usually tell from the sample if it is something I will keep reading.

 

whenever i read a book and it gets made a movie, who they pick to star in it always ruins what i had in mind for that character. Like Edward, Robert totally ruined my Edward fascination for me LOl he isnt what i pictured at all. Robert is to dirty in that i never take a shower look type thing. but alot of people think hes perfect for the part though. its cool how we each have our own image of who the characters are in our minds .

IDK who that guy in the picture is but maybe his abs are all I can picture of Barrons. I picture him more evil, addicting looking lol but evil in a not evil way. hard to explain LOL!

Like Christian Mackeltar i picture as maybe a rougher looking Colin Ferrell but less drunk looking LOL

I agree with Crystal, I'm not a big fan of Colin Farrell either. I picture Christian a lot younger and less rough.

gah! this series is KILLING me ladies! i'm not kidding you. i'm a woman obsessed!

crystal i'm TOTALLY on board with Joe as Barrons. I don't think you can get much closer than that. Except for ITA with the skinny jeans. But ya, throw some armani on that hot body and I'm in! bwaah ha ha!!

I seriously went back and reread the whole series again. And I still can't quite get enough. I'm like seriously... well, maybe I should stop there.

 

oh, have you guys seen the FB pages set up for the fever characters? i stumbled across them the other day. not sure why, but they were in the left sidebar for someone or something i was looking at... i'll see if i can find them again...

and then those pages have links to some of the other characters, like ryodan and v'lane. but their pages don't really offer up much as far as what KMM might have had in mind when she was picturing the characters.

just thought i'd share.

 

After rereading it and thinking my reading life would no longer have sense, I must say things are getting better now. Give it some time!

Since you brought the post up, Rebecca, I'll also share Karen Marie Moning's Facebook page: yesterday she posted a link to that scene she promised a while back. It's a steamy scene written from Barrons' POV. I'm not linking it directly because there is a definitely not kid safe picture. I have to say I didn't like it as much as I hoped, though.

 

yes cristina i just came across that today too. i gotta say, it did not in any way change my opinion of him as she said it might. nope, not at all.

Ohhhhh, interesting...I will have to check it out when I don't have the kid sitting right here next to me. I found 2 of the Highlander books at the library so I am giving those a try but I don't think they are nearly as good as the Fever series so far.
