    January 7 | Looking Forward

YAY for Day 7 of MOC 12! It's the time of year for resolutions and new year goal planning so today we have a challenge to get you thinking about the year ahead, or beyond.

Your challenge is to create a page with the theme looking forward. So, for example, a page about what you plan to do in the short term or long term future, something you are looking forward to, your future goals or even musing on what the future might hold this year or beyond. Make sure you are "looking forward" from today into the future. Please include at least 3 full sentences of journaling about your looking forward theme. Photos are optional.

I made a page about my goals for the month ahead. I am a big planner and make a monthly goals page every month. Mine is hybrid but, of course, that is not a requirement.

Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
    1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
    2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
    3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). Product from other stores will not be allowed for MOC; your pages must contain 100% Lilypad product (current or retired product from designers or guest designers presently selling at The Lilypad).

Your journaling should be in complete sentences to qualify as complete. Word art will not qualify toward your word count. You cannot use the same word over and over. You cannot use the same sentence over and over again. Journaling challenges are meant for telling stories; if your journaling is sensitive or personal, please message me or Julie (mrs2a50) directly to discuss.

Just wanted to note that your page does not have to be something you are "looking forward to" -- as in "I can't wait to go to X concert". That would be fine, but it is also fine to make a page gazing forward into the future and what it may hold, whether good or bad.

Thankyou for this challenge as I did not have to think hard to come up with what I wanted to share.

Thank you Dawn for hosting.. I went a different way... In February my Hubby is taking me to a play to see "To Kill a Mockingbird" with Atticus Finch being played by Richard Thomas.. I am so excited and have been looking forward to this since November!!

What I look forward to most during 2024 is the trip we're planning for our 30th anniversary.
