January 6: Inspiration Board Challenge (Inspiration Challenge)

Here's mine:


Inspiration: 1. Wall full of frames. 2. The brick walls in the photos. 3. Color of layout inspired by the black, white and red image. 4. Arrows and compass inspired by tattoo image. 5. Creative quote.

 

This was fun!!

Inspired by:
- large bold numbers
- aged blue wood
- blending
- geometric tattoo
- blue and orange colour scheme
- messy font
- grungy feel
- realistic painting

 

Finally, here is my LO for challenge 6. It was hard! (and work is taking up much of my precious free time at the mo, grr, not helping)



The five elements:
- colour swatch: orange
- camera image: in pp
- picture: face close-up
- happiness quote: LO about smiles = focus on happiness
- painted flower: doodled flower sticker

PS I forgot to add the doodled flower sticker when uploading it, so I uploaded a better version,but the preview in this thread won't update properly (yet?)... but if you click to the gallery, you'll see ALL five elements mentioned... please don't disqualify me!

This was fun!
My inspiration:
- The cooking photo - the wood grain background (Used a wood grain background)
- The cooking photo - the food sliced on the board (used a similar photo)
- The color palette - the navy and orange colors
- The camera - used cameras
- The sketchiness - sketched camera
- The watercolor paint behind the Happiness quote - the watercolor paint behind my photos
- Coffee therapy word art - Cooking Therapy title
- Flower cluster on Happiness quote - my little flower cluster.
- The block format of the inspiration board - the block of photos

 

I was inspired by the colors, the circle tattoo, the dark brick, the flowers, and the curly font.

 

Tricky one .. this I call a challenge

I used:
Photo with mirrors => style
Tattoo => paint
Colorful face of woman => edited my photo with snapchat
typewriter letters => typewriter font
Color dots => green theme/color

Hate is a strong word! but I come close to "hating" inspiration boards. This one made me CRAZY -- For my OC nature I need something to make sense, to be connected -- when I can't see it (sort of like Modern Art)) I ruminate. So it took me three days to come up with this and a lot of pain and mental anguish) Given I'm not going to be able to finish the full month as we're out of country for 8 days, I MADE myself get this one in. For that I'm proud - I lived up to my own challenge)))

 

How I'm feeling, too …

 

I was inspired by the typewriter font, the colors, the coffee therapy font, the circles, the flower cluster on the quote and the quote itself.

 

Your inspiration board was beautiful and so thought provoking. I was inspired by (1) the colors, (2) the bricks, (3) the black & white photos, (4) the clock and (5) the triangles. Thanks!

Hi There...I Have To Say I Found This Challenge Really Hard...Not Finding Inspiration...That Wasn't Hard
But Since I Am New Here I Don't Have A Lot Of Stuff From The Store & I Can't Afford To Buy Anything,So Trying To Come Up With A Layout Limited To Certain Kits Was Even More Of A Challenge Than I Thought It Would Be...My "I Am Woman" Layout Was Inspired By The Following:

Here's mine. I was a harder challenge than I wanted, but easy once I got started!

1) Layout from third image in second row.
2) Sketched face from top left.
3) Quotation about creativity from top right.
4) Coffee therapy quote.
5) Squares of colour in my face and coffee cup taken from the picture of the face towards the bottom right.

 

I was inspired by the color palette, the triangles, the face, the flowers in the hair and the quote!
